Training Opportunities

We're working with workforce and education partners across the region to bring you information about local training opportunities in areas of advanced manufacturing, agriculture, biotechnology, construction/energy efficiency, and health care.

 

Here are some of the current trainings available and offered by our workforce and education partners:

 

 

Advanced Manufacturing

 

Madison College EDA Advanced Manufacturing Training

Madison College was named a partner (as part of a grant from the Economic Development Administration) in providing mobile technical training opportunities to restore the economic health of the region. The college will provide training both on-campus and on-site in the community in the areas of advanced manufacturing for free. Trainings are available in areas of:

  • Programmable Logic Controllers and Robotics
  • Hybrid Vehicle Training
  • Manufacturing Standard Skills Certification (MSSC)

Health Care

 

Health Care Administrative Training Program

 

The Healthcare Administrative Training Program
(HATP) is an 13 week program that includes an 80
hour internship.  Students will receive training on the
latest software, procedures, and skills to be successful
in the healthcare administration field.
Students may earn up to 11 credits from Madison
College and be awarded a certificate in Basic Medical
Reception Skills Certificate.
