The South Central Wisconsin Job Center System (and WorkSmart) serve the Wisconsin counties of Columbia, Dane, Dodge, Jefferson, Marquette, and Sauk. Service locations provide access to a broad array of workforce and economic development resources and services through a combination of Job Centers, Access Points, Workplace Skill Centers, and Interactive Television (ITV) sites.

 

Job Centers 

Job Centers provide access to jobs, skill development, and business services. These centers serve as a "one-stop shop" for job seekers, offering resources such as workshops and classes, resource rooms with computer and Internet access, labor market information access, and referrals to additional services and programs.

 

WorkSmart Access Points 

WorkSmart Access Points provide job seekers free access to computers with Internet to help you in your job search. You can apply for jobs, create or update cover letters and resumes, apply for public assistance, and get connected with a Job Center, all in one convenient location.

 

Workplace Skill Centers 

Workplace Skill Centers are designed to help adults who need to brush up on their skills in computers, math, reading and writing. Open lab times are available so that you can get instruction in any subject, ask questions, and practice the new skills.
